Laflora green industrial area

Laflora's wind-solar park will generate energy that will enable the development of a green industrial area in the Kaigu peat bog, allowing not only Laflora to achieve climate neutrality but also promoting climate-neutral development for the entire Zemgale region.

In the green industrial area:

• A greenhouse complex – vegetables and tree seedlings will be grown for the local market and export, simultaneously promoting local peat consumption
• Sustainable innovation centre – innovative peat products will be developed and their production enhanced
• An industrial centre - the potential to attract companies with high energy consumption in manufacturing, enabling them to produce in a climate-neutral manner
• Data centres
• Modern offices and recreation areas.
